Document Processing

All document processing happens in your browser. PDFHarbor does not have a file upload endpoint. Your documents are processed using client-side JavaScript and never leave your device.

What We Don't Collect

  • We do not collect, store, or process your PDF files
  • We do not have access to the content of your documents
  • We do not upload your files to any server
  • We do not require you to create an account

What We May Collect

Like most websites, we may collect anonymous analytics data to improve our service:

  • General usage statistics (pages visited, time on site)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Aggregate, non-identifying data

Advertising

We display advertisements via Google AdSense to support the ongoing development, hosting, and maintenance of our free PDF tools. These advertisements are served alongside our interface and have absolutely no access to, or interaction with, your documents or local file processing.

Our PDF processing tools use open-source libraries (PDF.js, pdf-lib, and Tesseract.js) that run entirely in your browser. No third-party services have access to your documents.
