How your documents stay private

No server, no upload, no storage

Privacy through architecture

PDFHarbor does not have a file processing server. Every tool runs as client-side JavaScript in your browser tab. Your documents never leave your device.

What this means in practice

Documents stay in browser memory

Files exist only in your browser's RAM while you use the tool. Close the tab and the data is gone.

No account or personal data needed

You don't need to sign up or provide any information to use any tool.

Built on open-source libraries

PDF.js (Mozilla), pdf-lib, and Tesseract.js — all widely audited, all running in-browser.

What we do collect

Your documents are private. The website itself uses standard web infrastructure:

  • Anonymous page-view analytics (pages visited, device type)
  • Ad-related cookies set by Google AdSense
  • HTTPS encryption on all connections

None of this interacts with your files. For full details, see our privacy policy.
